No. AvaTrade charges zero commission on forex. You pay the spread. That's your trading cost. A partner code has no impact on spreads.
Code 128979 unlocks the deposit bonus. Bonus money added to your account based on deposit size. Simple as that.

Deposit $1,000 and get $200.
$2,000 gets you $400.
Deposits between $5,000 and $9,999 get $1,000.
